Obtained a can via a trade and was surprised to find it to be a very decent golden lager. Nothing terribly exciting but nonetheless a satisfying and refreshing beer. I’m not a fan of most domestic macro lagers so was pleased to see that this product was definitely a step up from that grouping of beers. If this were available in my geographic area, I’d be happy to purchase a 6-pack.

16oz can. Clear golden color. Finger of white head. Leaves pretty decent lace. Up front, a pretty vegetably flavor; corn. Not very pleasant. Moderate-plus sweet taste, lighter bitterness. Medium body. Kind of soft, lighter carbonation, reasonably smooth, with a decently balanced finish. Decent aside from the adjuncty DMS-y aroma. Some mild peppery hop to it. Disappointed overall. Even at $8/4pk, there are better options.

Sample at Rivertowne Pourhouse in Monroeville on 8/1/15. Clear gold pour with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet malt and some crisp hop. Sweet malt flavor with a bit of hop before a sweet finish.

Appearance is clear yellow. Aroma has some hints of malts. Taste is a pretty bland light lager. Overall not their best brew.

This poured a lighter golden color with a white head. Aroma was of grassy hops and pale malt. Flavor the same. Pretty boring but better than macros.

Pint pour of golden straw, white head. Nose is swee malt, corny almost, and wet dog? Flavor is malt forward and lightly hopped, crisp sorta. Eay drinking for sure.

First I thot this was a redo of one of their other lagers and I have not been a fan of their lagers, they are usually quite rude to the lager lover. This on the otherhand is one great civilized beer. It leaves domestic macro lagers in the dust. It is civilized with no ill effects what so ever. one of the best pale lagers I’ve ever had; right up there with alpha n ringside, yesserie, fer sure. Really liked this brew. Such a good feeling of perfect carbonation on the tungie. Can’t say enough about it, a really good example of what pale lager is all about, what else can be said? Much better than expected.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8142) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 24, 2014
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was faint floral and perfumey hops. The flavor was bitter with floral and perfumey hops, a yeasty undertone and a tangy sweetish presence. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

Light beer with actually a silky body. Tastes like your eating the pale malt. Could use a little more hop balance. Usually the malt forward beers are caramel like dunkels and bocks but this is a heavy malty beer with pale variety.
