A beer so enticing you may think it’s nectar from the gods. The name "Hala Kahiki" (Hah-lah-kah-hee-kee), originates from the Hawaiian words for pineapple. Feel the way it rolls off your tongue? Our sweet and refreshing beer will take you away...have a sip...grab a lei!

Pours like a blend of mountain dew and sprite. Almost no head. Aroma is of pineapple. As is flavor. Go figure. Surprised by this one. Not bad.

Can and draft from Capone’s and Craft Ale. Pours pineapple juice color and thickness and turbidity with minimal white head. Nose is like fresh Dole pineapple juice. Tastes of huge fresh pineapple juice, some malt. Finishes a bit odd, but this one is one of the more unique beers I have encountered, and worth a try.

Buddy brought a case for Phish festival weekend and said it was refreshing in the heat. While one may have been this is not a session beer. Sweet and syrupy with a off yellow froathy head and smell of pineapple. Alcohol taste was non-existent, might as well put this in a juice box and drank it through a straw.

12 oz can from The BeerHive in Pittsburgh. Almost no detectible trace of pineapple and a slippery thinness leads to a mediocre scoring. I can’t think of anyone who does this better, but certainly it’s time to try.

On tap at Sidelines. Pours a clear light yellow with a white head. Aroma of sweet pineapple and fruit juice. Flavor of sweet pineapple and pale bready malts. Sweet, but pretty good and quite pineappley. Although it’s sort of a "gimmick" ale, it’s one of the better ones and isn’t overly sweet. 7/4/7/4/14 [3.6/5]

This is a very refreshing beer with an authentic pineapple taste! Very light in color, minimal white head from pour, and wonderful aroma and taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from artmcd8. Ultra clear light yellow color. Possibly the lightest colored beer I’ve seen. Aroma is all sweet pineapple. I would think this is a mead based on the aroma. Taste is not as good as the aroma. Flavor is a bit artificial, as if a pineapple syrup was added to a pale lager. Has a macro beer sorta finish. Overall, I really like the sweet pineapple aroma but everything is just ok. Seems more like a beer for non-beer people.

Aroma is of pineapple juice. Light and sweet, fruity with a bit of a malty lager underneath. Not terrible, but still not quite beer.

12oz can from Keith. Rating #22. Pale straw color with a white head. Big pineapple aroma, sweet juice. Light tartness up front, but that turned to sweet pineapple juice quickly after that, pretty nice and refreshing actually. (2822)

Had this on a cruise for fathers Day. Light golden color , and slightly cloudy. Definetley a shandy with slighty sweet pineapple taste. Not bad for the type.
