A beer so enticing you may think it’s nectar from the gods. The name "Hala Kahiki" (Hah-lah-kah-hee-kee), originates from the Hawaiian words for pineapple. Feel the way it rolls off your tongue? Our sweet and refreshing beer will take you away...have a sip...grab a lei!

Light yellow color, white head, pineapple scent. Good flavor with pleasant aftertaste. I had a friend who used this for beer can chicken. That'll be great too, but I'm thinking a scorching hot summer day will fill the ticket for the five remaining!

Draft: pours a very light yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet pineapple. Taste is bready malt followed by the sweet pineapple. Almost like soda or a vitamin water. Extremely refreshing, I enjoyed this quite a bit.

12 oz can from a trade with mdg164. Pours clear, very pale yellow color with white head. Aroma of pineapples and cereal malts. Sweet pineapple soda flavor with some maltiness. Light to medium body with lively carbonation. Thanks Marc.

Belmont can. Pale, clear gold color with a white head and lots of bubbles. Aroma is pineapples and sweet malt. Flavor starts with pineapple and finishes with malt and hint of bitterness. Nice, refreshing with true pineapple taste not chemicals.

This brew pours a hazy bright yellow color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit and malt. Light-bodied with a strong pineapple flavor, with some toasted malt and mild spice in the background. The finish is fruity with a lingering pineapple flavor. I would almost peg this as a cider based on the flavor alone. Decent overall.

Can shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured hazy yellow color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy tart citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate tart sweet flavor with a moderate sweet finish of medium duration. Good fruit brew.

At first glance you’d swear this was a cheap mass produced beer as it looks weak and flavorless and didn’t really have much of a head (although that may be a result of the bartender filling it right to the top). The smell is a little fruity but generally OK. But the flavor and palette are great for a fruit beer. This tastes a bit like a pineapple life-saver candy. It was really refreshing after a day of working in the sun and may just be one of my new favorite summer beers.
