On tap at the Pour House. Roasted toasted malt with light smoke and some coffee. Sweet with little hop aroma. Dark black opaque with thin tan head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Chocolate, coffee, roasted barley. Medium roasted character with rounded bitter character. Well balanced and more like a dry stout than an IPA. Very enjoyable. Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a small beige head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was faint dry floral and fruity hops. The flavor was dry, bitter and a bit roasty followed by light floral hops and a touch of cocoa. The finish was long, dry and bitter with a faint floral hop presence. Medium body. Eh.
