We are honored to bring you our first lager in the form of this balanced medium bodied lager. Originally brewed for Andrew's wedding. It delivers an incredibly drinkable beer with just enough kick to get the families happy. Although the nick name is 'Andrew's last chance to get out of town lager', it would have been more appropriate to name it 'Melissa's last chance'!

Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear honey color with a medium thin light beige head that recedes quickly. Spotty lacing. Tangy fruit and malt in the nose. Light and sweet with a malty character that has mildly tart fruit and light hops flavors. The finish is short and malty. Average overall.

Draught at Monroeville: No aroma whatsoever. Poured amber in color with a small, off-white head that disappeared. Clear. Not sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of light Belgian yeast, light candi sugar, and some marzipan. Medium body. Slightly dry texture. Soft carbonation. Belgian yeast finish.

Draught sample from the Pour House. Reddish orange amber clear with no head. Mild sweet malty nose and a bit of fruity hops. Medium bodied with medium-light carbonation. Nice Vienna with sweet overall start and a bit of bittering hops. Finishes smooth with light bitter nutty after. A tad sweet but otherwise fine.

UPDATED: JAN 10, 2011 Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark red-amber color with a khaki head. The aroma was sour, tangy and malty. The flavor was dryish, bitter and had a floral hop presence. The finish was sour and tangy. Nicely malty. Solid.

Naka (719) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 28, 2008
Sampled at the Pour House. Pours clear amber with a slight reddish hue. Small white fizzy head gone after a few seconds. Nose has some toffee malty characteristics. Has a tasty sweet, yet bitter flavor. Good balance of toffee and brown sugar with the slightly citrus / grapefruit hops. Maybe I’m crazy, but I tasted hops in this!. Medium body that leaves a nice bitterness.

A very average vienna. Aroma was pretty weak. Caramel malt and toffee if you really search for it. Pour was a flat bubble-less burnt orange with no head. Taste was very weak with light malt in the front and an astringent Stridex hot aftertaste. Tasted a lot bigger than 5.5%. Blah.
