Amber colored, malty aroma with hints of sweetness? A sweet and very long finish, with a little bitterness. Overall not to bad. Patrickctenchi (6732) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - SEP 7, 2015
Slightly hazy, amber-orange with a short, yellowed head.
Aroma is sweet toffee, grain malt.
Taste is a mildly spicy, breadheel and toffee malt.
Sweet, with a slightly stale, earthy/herbal bitter.
Ok, but a dry breadiness gets old quickly. JaBier (8253) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - FEB 21, 2015
Can from a sixer bought on clearance at Blacklick Wine & Spirits. Clear amber pour with a thick off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel and corn. Malty and grainy flavor with caramel accents before a light noble hop finish.

12 ounce can into dimpled mug, no canning date. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy orange/copper color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness. Nice aromas with good complexity and solid balance of dark/bready malt and earthy hop notes; with good strength. A fair bit of yeast fruitiness, but it isn’t overpowering. Taste of caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness. Slight earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, toffee, toast, biscuit, light nuttiness, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and complexity of dark/bready malt and earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, fairly crisp, and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice oktoberfest style. All around good robustness, balance, and complexity of dark/bready malt and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
