On tap at the Pour House. Fresh hoppy nose with a bit of grapefruit but mostly some medium bitterness to it. Good nose. Coppery amber, light haze, with off-white lacing head. Good medium body with smooth carbonation, almost as if on cask. Starts bitter, very bitter, with some caramel malt and just big, big hops. More like an IPA. Finished bitter and dry with chalkiness on the tongue. Some sulfur on the nose, too. zebracakes (1339) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 7, 2007
On tap at the Pour House. Hazy orange caramel, off white head. Aroma is tangerine, floral, kiwi. Flavor is the same with a bitter finish. cheap (6006) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 3, 2007
Clear and orangish red in color. Creamy off white head. Has a floral hop perfumy olfactory. Taste is less than an IPA but surely hoppy. I have tasted a few IPA that were less hoppy than this. Barely any carbonation. Bitter hop notes remain on the palate after the session. Typical hoppy APA style.
