COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
42 pounds of fresh raspberries were added to this beer to produce this dangerously drinkable, scrumptious, fruity delight. This beer is all the raspberry pleasure without the jaggers.

Pours kind of a muddy peach with a very thin head. Big raspberries on the nose. Nice raspberries on the nose without being too cloying. I think a little sourness on the finish would make this perfect.

Sample at the brewpub (as "Razzmatazz"). The beer pours a murky peach color with a thin and fizzy off-white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Tart raspberry aroma with some malty notes. Light body with flavors of raspberries, wheat and malt. The finish is slightly sour with the raspberry taste lingering. Slightly above average overall.

(draft @ Rivertowne Pour House - Monroeville, PA) Hazy amber color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is tart raspberries mixed with some wheat and grass. Flavor is bitter and tart raspberries and a lightly sour wheat note. Raspberry flavor lingers on the palate for a while. Decent.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2011 Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a bright red-orange with a small pinkish head. The aroma was sweet and tart berry. The flavor was sweet, tangy and tart berry with a light undertone of " real beer" that was not overwhelmed by the fruit. The raspberry was crisp and identifiable. I was rather impressed with this one.

Draught sample at brewery. Light fruity aroma with nice notes of raspberry and mild citrus. Light tartness and medium sweet. Bit of fruity hops. Cloudy pink body with little pink-tinted head. Looks like pink grapefruit juice. Medium watery body with medium-high carbonation, short of effervescent. Starts with nice hit of tart raspberry juice, though a bit sweet. Not cloying sweet like Lindemans, but not sour juicy like more typical framboise. Light acidity. Medium bitter finish with light berry notes in the after. Fairly clean overall. Nice quenching fruit beer.
