On tap at Rivertowne. Sweet caramel aroma, malty and a bit musky. Seemed too cold so aroma was slow to develop. Underlying neutral fruit tang thatís not quite sour. Hop aroma is mute. Dark amber brown clear with light haze. Topped with creamy off-white lacing head. Medium watery body a bit on the thicker side, with medium carbonation and light alcoholic warming. Starts sweet, rich, and malty. Tons of sugar and caramel with a bit of musky grain, astringent bitterness on the tongue. Medium hop bitterness with nutty sweet after. This would be great if barrel aged or on cask. As it is, itís a bit rough overall and a bit too sweet.
