UGH! Chalk up a T.D.P. for Rivertowne (Technical Drain Pour). I give this score to beers that I dont TECHNICALLY pour down the drain, but I dont finish more than 3 gulps. This beer was awful. Dusty aroma with a hint of staleness and some candi sugar. Pour was a dirty light brown with no bubbles or head. Taste was like dirty water with no head and barely a hint of carbonation. There was some dark fruit present but the dirt and nastily sweet sugar overpowered it. I took 2 gulps and ordered this beast away.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a dark amber color with a trace of a white head. The aroma was sweet, tangy, sugary and had notes of candied fruit. The flavor was sweet, tangy, fruity, sugary and a bit yeasty. There was a moderate alcohol presence throughout. The finish was long, sugary candied fruit. Tasty.
