3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a golden-amber color with a large soapy yellow-white head that lingered and produced some lacing. The aroma was faint sweet tangy malts with a hint of honey. The flavor was sweetish with noticeable honey and a light tangy malt and fruity hop undertones. The finish was long with faint hops and moderate honey. Medium body. Subtle but nice.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The stinger has a clean but very prominent honey flavor with a tad of honey sweetness at the finish and a slight graininess. The alcohol of this beer really sneaks up on you, its only a little over 5%, but after drinking one it seems a little larger than that. I really enjoyed the honey profile of this beer, which is fairly absent in most honey beers that I tried. This was a nice beer, very drinkable.
