On tap at the Pour House. Strong hop aroma, funky with some sulfur and a bit of rubber, but in a pleasant way. Mild pale malt sweetness with a bit of dusty raw grain. Fairly dark amber, almost brown, clear with mild haze, topped with creamy lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Starts dry with mild acidity and big hop flavor. Strong hop flavor, resinous with a bit of rubber. Huge bitterness from start to finish and mild sweet malt notes. Nice bitter finish with light carbonic acidity. Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a red-orange-caramel color with a medium sized beige head that left some lacing. The aroma was faintly floral, perfumey and a touch piney. The flavor was dryish and bitter with notes of caramel, floral hops and perfumey hops. The finish was long, dry and hoppy. Medium body. Pleasant.
