UPDATED: MAR 9, 2005 Bottled. Cloudy pale brown. Yeasty and orangey. Light-medium bodied . Toffee and grass is there, as is some almonds. Lively mouthfeel, low bitterness. fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 14, 2005
Cloudy amber color, poor head. The aroma is malty and herbal, yeasty; nice but strange. Some malt and caramel, some herbs, too dry for its strength. Drinkable but not impressive. Oakes (18543) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 14, 2003
Orangey-brown. Toffee malts and dark fruits in the aroma. Body is similar, but with added leafy, twiggy notes. Lubiere (14133) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 4, 2008

Bottle shared courtesy of Fatty (thanks!). Poured a medium brown color with a smaller sized tan head. Aromas of earth, fruits, toffee and light spices. Tastes of pretty much the same. Sammy (12610) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 18, 2004
Similiar spice to the blonde however prettier colour. Or perhaps a tad spicier. Some herbs and floral aroma. A tad sour yeast and peppery aftertaste. Still a "pale" reflection of the real Belgian La Chouffe or its variations. Thanks Jercraigs. jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUL 18, 2009
