Thanks Arnie and Vic! This was a really great amber ale. Clear, sharp amber pour with a thinnish head, nose of baked bread, hops, chocolate. Tastes very balanced. Outstanding example. Headbanger (4022) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - DEC 1, 2006
12oz bottle- An aroma of toasted malt with some sweetness on a light amber body. A tan head that dissipates quickly. Taste of malt, sweetness, and slight hops. A little watery. Tmoney99 (15114) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 24, 2006
Bottle from Cock & Bull, Sarasota, FL. Poured clear dark amber color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate sweet malty aroma. Medium body. Medium balanced flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable beer. FlacoAlto (4228) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - NOV 19, 2006
An Amber ale that is brewed in the Märzen style; how is that for an incongruous beginning. Pours a brilliantly clear, dark amber color and is topped by an initially two-finger thick, tannish cream colored head. The aroma has a nice toasted malt note to it that follows an up front sweetish note that is a mix of caramel and fruit. This has quite a pronounced biscuit like / cracker note to it; in fact it reminds me a lot of freshly crushed malt.dirtymike (2016) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 19, 2006
The beer is light feeling up front, but quickly picks up a soft creaminess by the middle, which adds a bit of heft to this beer. This beer has a nice spicy hop note, which morphs into a solid contributing bitterness. The bitterness even bites a little bit just before the beer disappears down my throat. A soft, berry like sweetness is found up front in this beer. The beer’s flavor does not quite have the malt depth / vibrancy that I found in the aroma. Well this is certainly not a bad beer, but it is not something to write home about either.
Amber in color with a small white head. Aroma is malty and hoppy. Flavor starts bitter, malt is bready/toasty, with a nice balance throughout.

Orange colored pour with a slight white haed. Pretty much a basic brew with not much going on but at the same time kinda refreshing. Tasted smooth with some sweet fruit going on but thats about it. 17thfloor (2444) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 31, 2006
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2006 Reminds me of Redhook. The malt and hops are both clear to taste, however the finish is ...well weird...bad aftertaste LyndaNova (531) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 20, 2006
Cold 12oz bottle: Pours a clear orange amber color with very minimal alabaster bubbles around the edges of the glass. Aroma and taste are of sweet malt apples, caramel and spice. Medium carbonation with a watery texture. Volgon (2761) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 20, 2006
Bottle: Clear orange with a thin white head, rich malts in the aroma with some caramel, medium bodied, starts and ends lightly sweet, smooth ending with a slick feel. crizay (1050) - Brook Park, Ohio, USA - OCT 19, 2006
Thanks to Degarth. Pors a dark amber, small white head. Just a basic beer, nothing too good but nothing too bad. Slight sweet crystal malt taste, pretty watered down and thin, some hops. Just a basic easy drinking beer, not bad.
