2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: AUG 15, 2007 Pale golden color with a white head that leaves some nice lacing. Aroma is light with some hoppiness. Lots of carbonation on the palate. The taste is interesting if not great. Bitter fruit and mild hops. Not a whole lot of aftertaste. Not a bad brew, but not great.

When you plop dwn $3.99 on a 6-pack, what are you expecting? Obviously, it’s not something that’s considered top tier, or something above average. But if you get something that’s average or just below, it’s money well spent. I thought this was money well spent and it was tasty enough not to feel ripped off. Light, honeyish aroma, slightly grainy. Flavor is a little apple juice and just a bit bready. Not a whole lot of character, but not a drain pour either. Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pilsener glass.
The appearance had a hazy burnt transparent orange color with a less than a half finger’s worth of white foamy head. There was some light lacing sliding into the beer.
The aroma smelled burnt with what seemed to try to have some pilsner malts, but that’s about it.
The taste was somewhat toasty sweet but still seemed off and I couldn’t quite right place it.
On the palate, this one sat pretty light and was pretty sessionable. There was barely any carbonation.
Overall, nothing close to being remotely close to mediocre. I would not have this again. MrPresentati (39) - Gualala, California, USA - JUL 24, 2013
bleccchh. Not good. Watery-looking brew with minimal head. Not too bad on the front, but then comes the lingering saccharin and copper-penny aftertaste. Drink ice-cold or suffer the consequences. crossovert (13866) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 27, 2011
Not a pilsener at all. A pale lager. IT is tart and watery. This beer was never even lagered I would suspect. bpreo (2943) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - NOV 23, 2011
It’s nice to have a good Pilsener every once in a while (or more often), and this is a fine example of the style, but honestly it gets much better.

Clear yellow with a white head. Weird fruity (raspberry?) aroma. Taste is sweet honey malt with ligth herbal hops -- not enough to be a pilsener. MaltDawg (1344) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JAN 8, 2010

Bottle from Food Lion on 08/22/2009. Very clear golden yellow body with a medium fizzy white head. Sweet corn and honey aroma with some light wet cardboard. Slight grain and honey flavor and a slight bit of cardboard. Medium light body with high carbonation.

Umm... it pours a boring pale lager color with a mediocre looking head all over the top, but that leaves you after a short while. Aroma is that cheap lager aroma... not exactly macro-crap lager aroma, but close to that. Slight sweetness in there, along with some breadiness maybe. Not really anything in the way of hops. Not offensive though and rather drinkable... the problem isn’t drinkability, it is taste. obguthr (6653) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - OCT 21, 2009
The third of the Wingwalker trifecta: Faint aroma of lemon and barley malt. Clear yellow, no head. Lemony flavor, cardboardy finish. No trace of a hop to be found. Very bland. Worst of the three.
