Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a light orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of peaches and grapefruit, as well as light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with lots of fruit - somewhat fruit punchy, leading to a slightly bitter end. joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 14, 2007
Clear amber coloured with a white head.
Aroma of malts, fruits, caramel, tea and hops.
Sweet flavour of malts, caramel, fruits and hops. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 17, 2007
(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, amber golden with a small, off-white head. Some light aroma hops in the nose. Medium-bodied with a somewhat artificial caramel sweetness. A dry, hoppy finish. 120207 bhensonb (15747) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 20, 2006
Light evergreen/citrus aroma. Nice amber color, but the thinnest head possible. Starts with some pine, but malt immediately arrives. The good news is that a citrus hop finish is there. There is malt along with the citrus, but it’s a very good finish. It’s a very good pale ale, and it verges on IPA hoppiness. I understand the comments about brown sugar and honey, but in my mouth they flow away quickly. So it’s dry/astingent. This is really good pale ale. Really. Good. Bottle poured a clear orange amber with a lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of earthiness, light carmel and hints of citrus and pine. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of earthiness, carmel and light citrus with a smooth earthy finish.

(12oz bottle, thanks wilkie) Clear amber body atop small beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, orange/grapefruit, some dusky. Taste is medium sweet, orange/grapefruit, some dusky/earthy. Light-medium body, light chewy. Improves slightly as it warms. Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 3, 2009
12 ounce bottle from a Farm Fresh somewhere. Pours a copper color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Muddled aroma of near nothingness. A little soap, nuttiness and stale leafy hops. Taste is bitter citrus hops and soap. Thin-medium bodied. Dogbrick (13751) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 9, 2007
Bottle from Albertson’s in Tehachapi, CA. Pours a slightly hazed golden-amber color with a medium thin ivory head that dissipates fairly quickly. Spotty lacing. The aroma is mildly malty with some hops and caramel. Medium-bodied with fruity hops and sweet caramel flavors. The finish is dry with a slightly floral hops aftertaste. Barely average overall. madsberg (11776) - Søborg, DENMARK - FEB 13, 2007
Bottled (thx to Degarth for the trade). Amber coloured. Clear. Dense light brown head. Citrus, herbs and light flowers. A bit subdued. Flavour is light spiced, herbal, sweet and fruity. Medium to light bodied. Light bitter end. Very easy to drink. DuffMan (10664) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 15, 2008
Hazier and deeper orange than the winter ale, a little more malt, and more resinous citrus-hop character.
