3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice copper color with a medium off-white head that leaves some decent lacing. Sweet, malty aroma with some citrus in there, too (grapefruit?). Light to medium palate...high carbonation. Taste is malty and sweet up front with notes of caramel. Finishes fairly bitter with a punch of citrus. Aside from the summer honey wheat, this is the best of Wingwalkers’ stuff.
12oz bottle poured into glass. ADJUNCTS AND YEAST BIPOS FLOATING IN BEER. Cloudy orange-brown. Smells like typical wannabe pale ale. Sweet malts. Honey, rice, and seriously lacking hops. Anyone else have floaters?? Never throw away a beer...this one I had to. miyauchi38 (1096) - chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 28, 2015

19 aug 2014, bottle. Light orange, clear, steady bubbles. Nose is rich, malty, some peaches, orange juice. Med body and fizzy. Rich, tropical fruit, peaches, granola malt, but mainly fruity. Pretty good.

Reviewed from notes.
This beer has always been poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a decent looking hazy orange color with a decent half fingered white foamy head that left some light lacing sliding down the sides of the glass.
The smell had earthy and herbal bitter citrus aromas compounding over top of a decent malt background.
The taste was semi-sweet, but seemed to lack any bittering for an American Pale Ale.
On the palate, this one sat at/about a light to medium in body. It had a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed to have finished smoother than most APA’s, but nothing unacceptable.
Overall, not a bad pale ale, though probably closer to an EPA, but hey I’d probably drink it again. Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - JUL 29, 2013
March 2010. Bottle. Bland pale ale with not a whole going on for it. Drink and forget beer. Amber color, small white head. Water, caramel and a little bit of hops. varanid99 (1204) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 27, 2013
Light gold pour with no real head. Aroma is citrus and caramel. Taste is similar, but a little thin, slightly soapy taste. reebtogi (6261) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 8, 2012
355ml bottle pours a light golden orange color with a finger of white head that leaves only a few specks of lacing behind. Aroma is light citrus and caramel. Taste is a mild caramel sweetness with a light citrus and grassy hop bitterness with hints of other light fruits. A very mild pale ale that needs a bit more substance. Not recommended. Nice copper color, but aroma is a strange soap and almond and yellow cake mix combo. Taste is more of the same, with a grainy, lemony finish. Vegetable hint going on as well. Not sure about this one...
