COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A finely-bubbled beer made from wheat and barley. Like the traditional Belgian "White" it is refreshing, light and slightly fruity. Bottle refermentation imparts a yeast enriched flavor.

Not to be confused with the separate Blanche made by the brewpub Cheval Blanc.

New bottles do not feature "de blé" anymore, but simply La Blanche and Cheval Blanc.

WheatKing (1338) - Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA - NOV 24, 2012
A good quality wit. Nose of lemon and coriander, nothing too strong. Taste is earthy zest. A little spice. Finish is a bit tart and refreshing... I’m sick of wits with no finish, so this was certainly welcome.

Bottle, pours a bit of cloudy yellow, aroma is spicy and yeasty, a nice smooth bel wit, overall this one was quite nice and drinkable.

A nice drinkable blanche. Nothing complex but a refreshing fruitiness and coriander flavour with a noticeably wheaty malt.

Bouteille 341ml. Arôme d’agrumes léger, de céréales. Goût léger d’agrumes, principalement de citron, un peu de levure. Une bonne bière rafraîchissante.

Bread-y, wheat-ish aroma. Pours a cloudy light yellow with small amounts of white head. A bit of fruitiness up front -- lemon zest and some orange adds tanginess to a neat, well-balanced whit. Well-carbonated but smooth. A great beer for a sunny patio.

Metalchopz (3515) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - APR 10, 2012
Originally rated November 2004. Poured a cloudy golden-white colour with a fluffy head. Nose was of citrus and spices. The taste was also of spices, specially coriander. Had a crsip finish. This brew is very close to Boréale Blanche (which I prefer of the two).

turbothy (1141) - Bonn, GERMANY - MAR 29, 2012
Pours golden opaque with white head. Sweet, floral aroma. Sweet flavour, not complex but easy drinking.

3.5
Tricker (419) - Quebec, CANADA - MAR 13, 2012
