Draft at Rattle with Npodendorf. Pours deep brown with a beige head. Wheaty base, with some light sweetness, very light fruity notes, and low bitterness. Comes up just a bit short, but enjoyable nonetheless. Cybercat (6011) - Georgia, USA - APR 21, 2010
Pours a barely transparent hazy golden yellow with a decent white head. Aroma is wheaty, yeasty and just a little lemony, about average for this style. Mouth filling flavor is crisp and wheaty with a nice undertone of citrus, mainly lemon, a little bit of summer sunshine. Texture is smooth and fairly fizzy.

Appearance: Pours a hazy, orange-gold body with a thin, white head.
Smell: Sweet-smelling, malty nose with rather mild notes of fruit and spice.
Taste: Notably sweetish maltiness with a bready, almost cakey quality to it. Distant, faroff note of field grains. Hint of clove. A drop or two of tangerine oil. Very faint spicy hops with an equally light touch of bitterness. Drying finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.
Drinkability: While not the most authentic hefeweizen I’ve come across, it’s still a generally pleasant, refreshing beer. unclemattie (4357) - Georgia, USA - SEP 8, 2008
12oz bottle Pours hazy orange foa y white head. Fruity aroma of fresh pie, hints of spices. somewhat sweet scented nose. sweet malt flavor, hints of unsalted sunflower seeds. An odd presence of orange zest in the finish. The flavor seems to combine a barley and wheat flavor. Finishes with a hefe character. An odd pale ale flavor with a Hefewiezen finish. Nowhere close to Rogue Soba, and very unique in its own place. Refreshing, tasty, and balanced. SSSteve (4006) - - MAR 5, 2010
12oz bottle. juicy, peachy pear aroma. hazy orange under a very large rocky cream colored head. the fruity pear continues into he flavor with a soft honey toffee flavor. light body. a pretty tasty wheat ale. NachlamSie (3534) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 19, 2006
Draught. Pours cloudy yellow with a thin white head. There is an astrigent aroma of wheat and a lime sourness. A little cautious now, I took a sip to discover a pretty decent banana-pop, yeasty flavor with a medium level of citrus. Faint spiced notes are hinted at. I was expecting a thin, sour beverage but rather found a thin, refreshing, sweet brew. Not bad, not great. DavoleBomb (1867) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 25, 2011
Poured into a weizen glass. Thanks to thagr81us for this.
4.0 A: This is the third RJR brew I’ve had recently and surprisingly this (a wheat ale) has the least amount of carbonation. Hazy yellow-orange color. Two and a half fingers of frothy white head. Average retention and moderate lacing.
3.5 S: Neutral wheat with musky cellar funkiness. Not really anything else going on, but not too bad.
3.0 T: Low in flavor. The strongest flavor is a mild hop bitterness. Neutral wheat, musty funkiness again, and yeasty. Not really any spiciness.
2.5 M: Lighter body. Carbonation is high, but within the style. Not creamy at all like a good wheat and leaves a chalky aftertaste.
2.5 D: I’m not a big fan of this brewery. Nothing really good about this brew.
