Bottle-poured a hazy, amber color with a small head. Aroma was spicey with some malt. To me, the aroma and taste was much more to a pumpkin ale as opposed to winter beer. Nice try, didn’t work. Bruisin Ales. r464 (2360) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 27, 2012
Aroma is spicy. Malty, nutty, earthy. Hints of cinnamon and nutmeg, other spices. Finish is a bit thin and watery. DCLawyer (2846) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - NOV 25, 2012
Draught->shaker. Cloudy copper with decent head. Aroma is malt, spices, touch of pumpkin. Taste is more pumpkin over spices, unbalanced. Jlar810 (5) - - NOV 23, 2012 does not count
Has a spiced apple note and a clear amber color. A hint of pumpkin flavor, with a smokey finish maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - NOV 22, 2012
Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a moderately thin head. Nose is a bit spicy with those winter spices. Spices really come through in the taste, too. Easy to drink, just seems like a run-of-the-mill winter ale.

Orange-yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is nutmeg and ginger. Taste is a nice balance of ginger and nutmeg with the malt. Nice lacing. A nice first beer to try from this company. jonas (7588) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - NOV 7, 2012
Bottle. Christmas spices and nuts in the aroma. Cloudy orange amber, low golden head. Mellow mouthfeel, medium body. Slightly sticky, spices are a bit cloying at first, light fruit, a bit mealy. Not my cup of tea. ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - OCT 10, 2012
12oz bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a two finger soapy white head that lasts. Aroma of orange peel, coriander, caramel, and toast. Taste has strong citrus, coriander, biscuit and caramel malt, and faint grassy notes. The body is medium with lots of creaminess and a very smooth finish.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2012 Poured from a bottle. Dark copper color with small head. Smell of Malta and spice. Reminded me of Christmas. Nutmeg, honey, spice. Smooth beer. Worth trying again in Winter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone DiarmaidBHK (4924) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 22, 2012
Bottle from total wine sterling. Pours apricot with a thin white head. Slight note of honey on the nose. Thin mouthfeel. Slight hint of hop dryness on the finish. Disappointed. I was expecting something bigger and more flavorful.
