Mmmm have had this beer for a while. Tried it tonight. Liked it. Drank it while attempting to install a microwave/take down a oven hood. Ended up shocking myself. Guess you gotta turn the power off. Good times. PorterPounder (7894) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 31, 2012
Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 12 oz bottle. Slightly murky dark golden pour - fluffy white head that leave plenty of lacing. Aroma is reminiscent of a ginger bread cookie. Flavor has some horehound candy notes, and some gingerbread. Mouthfeel has a nice creaminess to it. BVery (10327) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - MAR 26, 2012
Bottle. Orange pour with a small soapy white head. Nose is cinnamon, clove, and tea. Medium palate. Taste is graham cracker, holiday spices, and a bit of vegetal character. jmohno (1612) - Iowa, USA - MAR 15, 2012
Poured into a stone pint glass golden orange, obvious bottle condition with yeast floaties, moderatemedium carbonation. thin head but frothy ring.
Weak aroma of mild hop possibly but probably spice.Slight breadyness/malt.
Taste is a typical pale clean crisp light carmel, sweetness, mild breadyness, spice is an obvious flavor and fairly major for taste with ginger and clove it seems slight cinnomon maybe not.Yeah some peppery ginger.Kind of a roasty finish with the bittering maybe just a mild harshness from the spices thoughFinishes mildly bitter but with spices more. Not bad for a spiced ale,not one of my favorates from them. wlajwl (6747) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - FEB 16, 2012
Aroma is citrus, cracker-like malts, and either spice or vegetables. The flavor is heavy on the spice and citrus, with vegetables creeping in. This, unfortunately, is another holiday ale that has a vegetable flavor in it; this one wasn’t as bad as others but it still detracted from the flavor and score.

From a bottle poured an amber color with a good amount of head. Light spiy malty flavor with a quick finish. beachbum25 (1092) - Powellville, Maryland, USA - JAN 21, 2012
On tap @ Lures, Crownsville Md-Cloudy amber pour w/an off white head. Spiced aroma. Some spice, some roasted malt, a little sweet, nothing special, but a solid, easy drinking winter warmer. Finish was a little thin, I wouldn’t seek this out as there are a lot better winter brews out there, but it’s drinkable. Tmoney99 (14368) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 14, 2012
Bottle. Poured cloudy dark amber color with an average off-white frothy head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid spice and sweet malt aroma. Moderate body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation and small particles. Medium spicy sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid seasonal beer.

Draft. Pours orange with a white head. The aroma has spices and sweet malts. The flavor has well balanced festive spices, sweet malts, and a light bitterness. Pretty good. RolkaNation (141) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JAN 11, 2012
Bottle poured into dimpled mug. Nice golden color edging its way towards copper. Nearly finger-thick soapy white head thins out mostly but does stick around a good while. Aroma has earthy hops, nutmeg, slight caramel and an out of place funk/barnyard thing going on. Taste is a little better, thin on the palate. More nutmeg in the flavor followed by some hops and cinnamon-laced cloying finish. Decent but nothing special. The spices are pretty solid but not much else there.
