growler. Citric snap followed by slight alcohol. The best hop-forwoard offering of RJ Rockers so far.

22oz bottle. Poured a golden color with a larger sized head. Earthy, floral, toast, and pine. Older bottle and you could tell.

650 ml bottle. Pours a murky, brownish orange with an average, beige head that laces. Sweet, malty aroma of caramel, dried fruit and bread. Sweet malty flavour of caramel and dried fruit with a dry, bitter, light pine finish. Medium body with a thick, oily texture and soft carbonation. Ok, not really an IPA though.

Sparky (2244) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JUL 31, 2014
Bomber from Jazzbassman. Pours hazy orange with some floaters. The nose is malt, floral hops and biscuits. The taste is malt and major bitter grapefruit peel. Too unbalanced for me but happy to try it.

Orange color with a nose of sweet toffee and malts. Nice carbonation and taste follows smell. Smooth palate and bitter finish. Expected a west coast IPA to have a bigger hop profile. Not bad though.

GIJOE (1256) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - OCT 8, 2013
Pours dark amber with a foamy off white head. Nose is mild hops with a creamy caramel backdrop. Taste is mildly bitter, but the malts come through nicely. Creamy, almost full-bodied brew. Quite nice.

From tap. Pours a copper color with small head. Aroma was full with citrus hops, caramel and sweetness. Taste followed, well rounded and medium bodied. Nice, start to finish.

From a bottle poured an amber color with a fair amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a lasting aftertaste.

Piney hops with some caramel and citrus on the aroma. Fairly darkened copper/amber color. Subtle bitterness with a moderately strong caramel, biscuit malt backbone. Overall, a fairly subtle and basic IPA. Can’t really believe its 90 ibu’s. Its a decent IPA. I’d give this a C+ rating.
