An unfiltered American wheat ale made with real mean peaches. The only thing missing is the fuzz. Savor the anger.

Pours hazy orange with a white one-finger head. A lot of peach in the aroma, alongside some candy-ish bubblegum notes and a bit of grainy wheat. The wheat makes it almost musty, which I like. More of the same in the flavor, though the middle has that turn for the worse that the two raters below me speak of. The middle-end reminds me of Sam Adams Summer Wheat, which isn’t necessarily a good thing. The flaw is noticeable, but it doesn’t completely ruin this decent little refresher. Dry, almost-but-not-quite snappy finish.

Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 2, 2009
12 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a very hazy orange apricot color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma is sweet peaches and cream with a bit of breadiness. Tart peaches in the taste with bread and spice. The peach taste seems fairly authentic and fresh. Very strong carbonation and light bodied.

PorterPounder (8288) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 27, 2010
Tallahassee Tasting at Proof/Liquor Loft - 12 oz bottle. Murky, light orange pour. Peachy aroma. Flavor is fresh and of course, peachy. Peach flavor is pretty natural and refreshing. Crisp, clean mouthfeel. Much better than expected.

riversideAK (6265) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - AUG 28, 2010
Nose is sweet and fruity peach, some wheat malt, and hints of sweet vanilla. Pours hazy orange yellow, thin creamy head. Flavor is sweet initially with notes of peach and vanilla followed by wheat malt, and more light sweetness. Rather mellow throughout with pleasant peach notes. Easy to drink non offensive fruit beer.

dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 1, 2011
Pours hazy, orangey amber. Strong peach smell with a little vanilla and butterscotch. Strong peach taste too but it seems a little off. Bottle says "brewed with real peaches and with natural flavor added" so can’t help but think somebody thought their peach beer wasn’t peachy enough and overcompensated.

TommyTilt (67) - Maryland, USA - MAY 17, 2011
Poured hazy golden yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma sweet peaches and apricot tarts. Taste wheat, mild peaches. Light bodied. Nice summer beer to throw in the mix. Dry fruit finish.

DocLock (11049) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 25, 2011
Bottle from Capone’s. Pours hazy orange with minimal head. Nose is peach, malt. Tastes peachy, dry, with some late tartness and hops.

hopsessed (37) - Kansas, USA - JUN 17, 2011
btl. Pretty good fruit beer. Aroma is somewhat typical of an unfiltered wheat with a background of peach flavoring typical of peach flavored candy. But the taste actually comes through with, what is this?- Real peaches! If you are a peach fan and want a good, not overly sweet (finishes dry) summer brew, pick up a sixer, even if it is a $10 sixer of fruit-wheat beer, it actually seems worth it.

Not bad at all. Dominating peach flavor, of course, but it wasn’t overly sweet. Very drinkable and light. Not much else going on.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a cloudy orange color with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet peaches and vanilla. A dry sweet peach tea flavor light grains. Decent.
