COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Roanoke Railhouse Track 1 is a true session beer that is very drinkable, yet robust in flavor. Track 1 has a ruby hazelnut color, medium light body, with moderate carbonation, and a roasty, nutty malt character balanced with the appropriate amount of bittering hops. Made from imported german malts and hops, and hand brewed from our own well water.

Bottle at home from Total Wine. Snifter. Pours a reddish amber color. White think head and some lacing. Aroma of malts, nuts, honey. Taste was very mead-like with nuts, roasted malts and some caramel. Medium body and carbonation. I don’t knwo what I was expecting but it was kind of MEH for me.

22oz bottle, split with two of my best friends. Poured an amber color, with a medium-sized white head. Aroma was notes of sweet, nutty malts, roasted notes. Touch of mostly earthy hops. Flavor is nice amber malt notes. Nothing spectacular, but I thought it was pretty drinkable.

Firefest 2013, Forest VA, Draft: Light metallic nose. Crystal clear auburn, headless. Strong dark honey nose, good barley malt presence. Finishes clean. Really delicious.

mansquito (6983) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JUN 8, 2013
Total Wine: Pours a ruby/amber color with a beige head. Aroma is caramel malt and sugar. Taste is toffee, some ambiguous fruitiness, and a bit of underlying hops. I thought something was off in the body. Tastes kind of like homebrew in my opinion.

maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - NOV 20, 2012
Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with almost no head on it. Nose is a bit sweet with just a hint of fruit in it. Taste is somewhat sour, actually, and is fairly harsh on the palate. Not a fan of this.

strongpieman (1651) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - AUG 25, 2012
Bomber. Clear caramel colored brew that pours with a decent head. A nutty malt aroma - not too strong, medium body, smooth, light finish. Very drinkable beer with flavor and body for such low alcohol.
