Ceramic mug. Spicy hop aroma - pepper and marjoram. Spicy hop on the palate, too. The bitterness is moderate for the style and the malts a touch more caramelly than usual. Finishes with a spicy finish that hints of rye bread. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 20, 2009
Draft @ brewery. In krug. Has gold color with lasting beige head. Lightly smoky sunflower seed nutty sweetness. Fresh farmy fun with hop juice too. Pure hoppy Frankenbier. MiP (15960) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 12, 2009

(swing top bottle) Clear, golden colour with a foamy white medium-sized head. Moderately sweet strawy malt aroma with a touch of biscuits and strong notes of herbal hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, solid grainy malty base with balanced herbal hops; medium to light bodied with a crispy, well-carbonated mouthfeel; moderately dry, bitter-sweet finish with a good dose of herbal hops. Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 17, 2006
(On tap) Clear, pilsener golden with a small, white head. Good, slightly flowery hop aroma. Medium body with a clean malt base and a dry and rather bitter finish. 091106 pivnizub (10763) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - DEC 16, 2005
Bottle (bought at the brewery): Slightly hazy, thin but stable off-white head; traces of malts and citrus under a huge blanket of herbal hops in the aroma; dry, rather strong bitter flavour; soft, long, lingering hop-bitter finish with a touch of grains. A very pleasant, moreish Fränkisches Landbier. Holy Gambrinus, hops rule..................! bierkoning (13598) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUL 6, 2004
Just a touch of haziness. A firm herbal bitterness, both in aroma and flavor. Relatively short aftertaste, or is it the cold that is plaguing me. Hints of vanilla and licorice. Medium bodied. Well made, tasty landbier.
