bottle, thank you MoritzF! Amber colour, medium-size head. Fruity and hoppy flavour, bitter-sweet flavour, very pleasant hoppiness. Ungstrup (37574) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 14, 2007
Draft. An amber beer with a disappearing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with a hint of acidity. The flavor is sweet malty with some notes of caramel, leading to a slighlty bitter finish. MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JUL 30, 2007
(swing top bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized, slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet malty, slightly toasty nose with a touch of caramel and barnyard, accompanied by hay and herbal hops. Light-bitter flavour; minimal toasty, malty taste with light notes of caramel, a subtle fruitiness and a shy herbal hoppy blend; a bit slim, bitter-sweet finish with a light hop-character. Well-balanced but a bit thin Landbier. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 17, 2006
(On tap) Clear, amber golden with a small, off-white head. Sweetish with a lightly caramelish malt nose. Medium-bodied with a solid, lightly sweet malt base and some caramel. Everything nicely balanced by some good aroma hops. 091106 pivnizub (10615) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - DEC 15, 2005
Swing-top bottle, bought at the brewery: Hazy, ambercoloured, thin but stable foamy layer; distinctive grainy and fruity nose with a tinge of dust and yeast; moderate bitter flavour, pleasant soft mouthfeel, low carbonation; shorter, soft bitter and fruity finish. A pleasant and tasty rural Franconian beer...., balances well grainy fruitiness and bitter hoppiness.
