Where Purchased: 347ml bottle from the brewery
Consumed: from a pilsner glass
Aroma: Smells malty and sweet.
Appearance : dark gold with a tinge of red. Lots of head that last to the last drop. Excellent lacing.
Taste: a little bitter for my liking. Not much malt or sweet flavour. Very bland other then the hops.
Palate : medium body. Sweet aftertaste. Good carbonation.
Overall: It was not what I was expecting. I would say it tastes closer to a lager or a lagered ale, but not as malty or heavy as an amber. I was glad to try and will buy again. MB. The Beer "Bear"on.

Enjoyed with my better half at Pub Italia. From bottle, pours very minimal head and has a golden amber appearance. But for an amber ale, doesn’t really share its name. Has a rusty roasted malt aroma, with peppers and nutmeg. Flavours are roasted malts, Saaz hops, citrus, and spices are apparent. Hints of cinnamon and cloves. Slightly warming sensation and drying mouthfeel. Pretty good but prefer the brewery’s IPA output. melush (4737) - SPAIN - JUN 29, 2017
