Guess who’s been to Morrisons? Clear bronze finely slicked with white. Most definitely not a golden ale. Pretty neutral, slightly mineral and nutty aroma with caramel and aniseed aroma. Soft and anodyne with a difficult, slightly salty, paper and wicker dunked in soda water and Alka Selzer flavour. Smudge of late salvaging caramel. Such a wasted opportunity.
I didn’t enjoy it at all, but it was due to expire so who now_______________ ManVsBeer (10656) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2014
Bottle from Booths, Media City. Copper coloured with a thin head. Has a light caramel sweetness in its nose, less so in its taste but it’s fairly smooth tasting and pleasant in the palate. Beese (2934) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 4, 2014
Bottle from Morrisons. Poured a clear copper colour, with a medium, white head. Aroma of malt, caramel and some mild metallic notes. Boiled sweet in the flavour, with grass and toffee. Finish was rather fake; cream soda, copper and some chewy malt. Mr_Pink_152 (5107) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - APR 22, 2014

Hazy orange thin white head. Very light fruity aroma. Sweet bit bready. Very bland hop flavor but light and easy to drink

Amber copper with a medium white, lacy, lasting head. Smells of sweet malt, fruit, wheat and wood. Thin oily body. Sweet caramel malt with a light bitter fruity finish. Rather boring without much character. johndoughty (5472) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2013
Bottle. Golden with an unusual texture and mouth feel that is hard to explain. Definitely a different bitter. Unusual name. unusual beer. Pizd (435) - Merseyside, ENGLAND - NOV 9, 2013
(Bottle): Pours clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of malt, caramel and an overly sweet fruit note. Similar notes in taste. Very bland and leaves a tacky sweet aftertaste. Disappointed. Erzengel (8885) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - NOV 7, 2013
Thanks to Seanyfo for this bottle.
Copper colour with huge beige head. The beer starts a bit watery, malty, not too intense. The mainpart is a bit weak, highly drinkable but lacks on aroma. Malty, a bit sweetish, but not more. The aftertaste is medium, malty-watery with a slightly bitter note, that harmonises nice, but is too light.
--> nice beer, but sadly with a huge lack on aroma. --> 7/12/6/7 gegwilson (3724) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 21, 2013
Bottle from Rhythm & Booze, Ripon. A pretty standard English bitter. Amber coloured with a diminishing white head. Not much to report. Those Elbow boys should probably stick to making records.
