Davros IX (485) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 4, 2017
A lovely opaque colour in the glass and a small head. The taste was quite overwhelmingly molasses and treacle, but there was still an underlying bitterness of burnt malt and some hops. The mouthfeel was thick and oily and I am still trying to determine if I liked it, or found it slightly unpleasant. It was a good beer, but it won’t go on the repeat shopping list.

Bottle 0.33l. Cloudy, dark copper to brown colored. AROMA- dark caramel, dark fruit. FLAVOR- neutral, lightly bitter, alcohol, dark bitter caramel. Fuller bodied.
One dimensional caramel taste. I don’t like this type of beer very much.

Duboka i tamna crvena boja - skoro crna.

martpez (334) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - MAR 1, 2017
Silky smooth in the mouth (As such a strong ale should have) deep malts sharp clean hoppy aftertaste. Lots of toffee flavors in here. Strong but but not overpowering. Really lovely hard to find such a good beer for such a reasonable price!
