dutchbeerpages (2439) - Wilnis, NETHERLANDS - NOV 14, 2016
has all the usual flavors you expect from a beer like this, but they all work. Great palate, some great sweetness too. Wonderful.

Antzrhere (181) - Blackpool, Lancashire, ENGLAND - NOV 3, 2016
Pours dark brown with red tinge. Little or no head. Strong aroma of dark fruit and port. Taste is intense malty, sweet dark fruits, licorice, spice, caramel and port like finish. The alcohol amd sweetness make this a great winter warmer, but balanced. A great example a strong English ale.

TychoJames (1380) - Örebro, SWEDEN - OCT 20, 2016
Flaska systembolaget. Mörkbrun vätska. Doft av mörk sirap, äpple och rostad malt. Lätt knäckig smak med kavring och säd. Besk och lite torr munkänsla

Nische (2388) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 9, 2016
Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours very dark brown with creamy, slightly beige head. Aroma of leather, red wine, some toffee, pear, port. Taste of leather, liquorice, roast, dry wood. Moderately bitter with very soft carbonation and a long somewhat bitter woody finish.

artemb (1068) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - OCT 8, 2016
Dark brown, almost black, opaque, strong beige head. Aroma: oxidized, leather, mature wine. Moderate to light sweet with subtle grassy bitterness. Flavour: roasted notes, mature cheese, mushrooms, some earth. Finish is slightly spicy and hoopy with light alcohol notes.

Luneylane (217) - Taipei City, TAIWAN - OCT 7, 2016
A bottle from Jason’s near NCC Uni., drunk at home. Aroma: very powerful, filled the room [well, nearly...]. Vinous, port wine. Appearance: clear, very dark ruby, tan head dissipates quickly. Palate: full-bodied, long finish. Mouth-feel is flat. Taste: port wine predominates, very fruity, alcohol is well-hidden. Well-balanced, but I would have liked more hops.

Alebarasi (138) - Dobrova, SLOVENIA - OCT 4, 2016
Black, cola-like color. Slight ruby hue to it. Medium cream-colored head. Quick carbonation. Light body and lacing. Sweet wet wood/earthy aroma, with hints of sweet caramel, molasses, dark fruit (plums), cola and roast. Taste: intense and strong earthy, nutty, bready aroma, with dark fruits cueing the palate. Very smooth with dense malts. Warming aftertaste gives it a character. Delicious beer indeed!

Fules (1309) - Gyöngyös, HUNGARY - SEP 22, 2016
Kicsi, nem túl tartós hab, sötétbarna szín. Illata karamelles, pörkölt malátás, kissé élesztős. Kissé száraz, karamelles, fűszeres ízvilág, pici aszalt gyümölcsös beütéssel. Lecsengéskor némi kávé is előbukkan, kis alkohollal egyetemben. Közepesen testes, erősen szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Nem rossz, de azért van jobb is.

shoestring (419) - larkhall, SCOTLAND - SEP 21, 2016
UPDATED: SEP 22, 2016 Head doesn’t last so slipped a bit for appearance. Lovely fruit rich aroma. Same spice fruit in mouth . Was expecting more sickly alcohol kick due to other reviews but pleasant for strength. Chocolate in their . Nice. Alcohol warmth did come through towards end of glass.
