Vackert mrkt rubinrd, medelstort skum.

Brown ruby with little beige head. Aroma is marzipan, roast, toffee, dried figs, a hint of smoke. Deep and complex. Taste is well balanced everything: Chocolatey sweetness, some bitter roast. Spicy finish with raisins. Full body, very smooth. I love it.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2016 Bottle at hopaholic. Deep brown, almost black colour, small white head. Small bubbles. Nose is molasses, light matallic notes. Taste is malty, roasted, medium bitterrness. Nice dried fruity taste, shame its a little bit overshadowed by its metallic taste.

Ear wax, liquorice and malty doormat. I like cats but think old tom has been adding his own flavour to his territory/brewery. Not my thing

has all the usual flavors you expect from a beer like this, but they all work. Great palate, some great sweetness too. Wonderful.

Pours dark brown with red tinge. Little or no head. Strong aroma of dark fruit and port. Taste is intense malty, sweet dark fruits, licorice, spice, caramel and port like finish. The alcohol amd sweetness make this a great winter warmer, but balanced. A great example a strong English ale.
