Bottled. Dark amberish ruby red, with bubbly sparkling head. Aroma of alcohol, licorace, some plummy notes. The flavour is sweet at first (plummy) and then get a small hoppy kick, though the plum also stays there. Long sticky sweet fruitish aftertaste. A bit oily palate.

cgarvieuk (26082) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 22, 2007
A deep red colour, thats sweet malt aroma, little fizzy with a rich deep malt flavour

omhper (25808) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - DEC 16, 2002
Bottled. Dark ruby. Deep, fruity raisiny aroma. Bold maltiness, lightly salty, rather clean. Relatively low bitterness. I expect more complexity in a beer of this gravity.
