Clear deep chestnut brown with medium tan foam. Aromas of chocolate, sweet cocoa, truffles and tooffe notes. Palate, light body with lightly oily but thinish texture leaving smoky finish. Taste is sweet-ish with notes of very tosted brown bread, charcoal and cocoa. Overall, drinkable but for me it reminds too much of burned toast and I am not a fan of burned toast. limbonicartbeer (92) - - SEP 11, 2016

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2016 Dark amber colour, with no head. Aroma is the same as taste, chocolate and some whiskey. Very pleasant aroma and taste. Very low bitter aftertaste. Overall really great easy drinking beer. I_LUV_BEER (231) - - AUG 17, 2016
Served in a tulip from a 330ml bottle. Pours dark brown clear amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is vinous and slightly sour, prunes, chocolate and hint of molasses. Taste is caramel, grass and chocolate notes. Thin to medium body with lively carbonation. Pleasant and refreshing, very quaffable without being overwhelming on the sweet side. Lovely!

Slight chocolate aroma with little head and no lacing. Dark amber hue. Taste is pleasant bitterness with slight chocolate coming through ring at the end. Slight fizzyness on tongue and roof of mouth. Pleasant beer but not remarkable. Kita (2119) - Koper, SLOVENIA - AUG 14, 2016
Bottle, 0.33l. Clear dark brown color with medium creamy tan-like head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, caramel and vanilla. Taste starts sour bready and grassy, follows by mild sweet roasted malt and chocolate, even some medicinal notes present, mouthfeel is dry, while finish is medium bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. I would prefer more creamy and less grassy brew, but that’s old ale... sumo234 (101) - Postojna, SLOVENIA - AUG 12, 2016

Nice aromatic beer with a full roasty taste and hints of dark chocolate yet somewhat fuity A bitter sweet aftertaste, in my case i could sense a plum aroma. Foam was thick and stayed in the glass long after drinking, although there wasn’t much of it. Color was a nice mahogany as stated on their site. I enjoyed it more than the "commercialy popular" dark ales. LazyPyro (1120) - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2016
330ml bottle. Clear dark amber brown colour with a creamy smooth off-white head, good retention. Aroma: light roasted malt, chocolate, caramel. Taste: chocolate, malt, liquorice, vanilla, molasses. Quite sweet overall with a slight bitterness in the finish, slight taste of alcohol too. Soft carbonation, smooth oily mouthfeel. Pretty nice brew.
