Sweet cocoa aroma and taste. Not as rich and complex as a fine chocolate stout but good for what it is.

Clear dark amber with thin white to beige head.
Aroma.. sweet with tons of chocolate, caramel, some fruity tones.
Actually I expected from this only chocolate flavour. Thou I was pleasant
suprised by present of maltiness tones and fruits
Bit dry and medium bitter finish.
Nothing extraordinary, thou very drinkable and interesting beer. tseo (153) - Athens, GREECE - OCT 20, 2012
Aroma: Appetizing bouquet of flowers, vanilla, milk chocolate. Sweet and rich.
Mouthfeel: Sharp and lively.
Taste: Palate of chocolate and malt (like cookie dough?). Bitter hops balance things out.
Finish: Nutty, dry and a tiny bit tart.
Overall: A simple, straightforward beer of considerable quality. It’s unusual enough to set it apart from chocolate stouts.

Medium dark amber brown with a fizzy light lace lasting white thin head. Smells of chcoclate, coco, licorish, roasted malt and brown sugar. Medium to thin light body with soft carbonation. The carbonation is a little chemically but overall quite nice. Tastes of milk chocolate, licorish, and a bitter ashy peppery. Enjoyable. and easy to drink. The finish is a bit tart like I liked envelopes for too long.

Sweet cocoa aroma and taste. Not as rich and complex as a fine chocolate stout but good for what it is. Cybercat (5832) - Georgia, USA - OCT 12, 2012
Strong, malty aroma has a firm overtone of cocoa - almost smells more like hot cocoa than like beer. Hey, I love chocolate! Pours a clear sepia with a nice fluffy and fine-bubbled wheat head. Malty flavor has a strong cocoa overtone, which I found rather enjoyable. I detected hints of apple and caramel as well. Texture has firm body and good fizz, leaving a malty and chocolaty finish. This is a good beer for the fall, when the leaves are turning and it’s time to break out the down comforter. jookos (6762) - FINLAND - OCT 11, 2012
Bottle. Brown-nutty, clear. Nose has a strong vanilla / nutty groove. Sweetish, dark murky malty. Chocolate powder. Body is soft, medium. The vanilla is there again. The nuttyness. Caramel. A bit of an oily finish. Feels almost like a cream soda. Interesting, ok for one bottle, especially if you’re a friend of root beer, but doesn’t feel malt-beery. 17thfloor (2443) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 7, 2012
Bottle. Pours a clear sticky looking chestnut brown with little head. Aroma is sweet, brown sugar and banana, vanilla. Really this tastes like old fashion cream soda, root beer barrel and vanilla, some chocolate in the finish. Light carbonation, lightly syrupy but overall thin in body and backing flavor, everything is upfront. Milk dud powdered milk and chocolate finish. Bottle thanks to 1thfloor for sharing. Pours deem amber brown ruby hues with a small white froth. Aroma is sweet cocoa, fruity esters, dark fruit, some vanilla, marshmallow, some woodiness. Flavor starts sweet vanilla, some cocoa and fudgey sweet candy with hints of oak and marshmallow still there. Finishes quickly. Medium body and a super sharp catbonation.
