(Bottle) Clear amber beer with a thin head. Malt and caramel in the smell, flavour has a hit of bitter hop, followed with the malt and a tangy fruit edge to it. Finish is quite dry and hoppy too.
Clear amber colour, minimal white head. Hoppy aroma with some citric hints, but just at the beginnig, after a few seconds all aromas fade away. Mild sweet taste, some hops here and there. Long bitter end, light body. Nothing remarkable. StoutBeerReviews (226) - Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 16, 2017
Great aroma and appearance, but a bit watery and dry. Mild bitter back end. It's not bad tho BeerloverOvHell (1) - DENMARK - OCT 16, 2017 does not count
A solid beer, maybe on the sweet side, but it tastes great for me. I love Iron Maiden, so I am biased, but I still think that it is a good beer dynamiteninja (1875) - Norfolk, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2017
Bottle. Clear amber body. Thin off white head which instantly dissipates. So far so droll. The nose is initially just red fruits. Upon imbibing I also get quite a fair amount of hops and tangerines. Also some Robinson's house flavour. Unfortunately further down the line I get notes of soap/cleaning disinfectant, which knocks this beer down from a 3.2 to a 2.9. Hint of spicy ginger towards the end. The taste is tangy and bitter. The finish is dry. Davros IX (449) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2017
Botte from Tesco. An entirely pleasant bitter that ticks all the boxes. A nice colour and a light aroma of malt. The flavour was malt and bitter hops that resulted in a bit of biscuit and some farmyard that was wrapped up by a soft mouth feel. Oh, and a nice low abv. My socks were definitely not blown off, but it was definitely an enjoyable beer.

500ml bottle. Pours light copper with a small off white head. Light carbonation. Nose is biscuit, toffee, cinnamon cake, spicy dark fruit and some orange peel. Buttery mouth feel. Taste is biscuit, toffee, spice, cake and orange peel. Finishes lightly bitter and slight citrus tang. Ok beer, but won't be rushing to buy this again. Bottle. 4.7%. Best before 07.18. Pours a clear golden, with an off-white head. Good lacing. Hoppy aroma, with light notes of fruit, citrus, berries, hay. Light metallic and cardboard overtones. Malt in the background, increasing a bit as it warms. Further warming brings out an overripe fruit/cooked vegetables note. Flavour is (citrusy) hops, fruit, cereals. Faint rubber note. Light malt/caramel note as it warms. Bitter finish, a bit dry, with a lingering overripe fruit/cooked vegetables note. Overall okay, if nothing special. But somewhat unbalanced, and the overripe fruit/cooked vegetable notes I could do without. 15.09.17. kyzr (1593) - Montana, USA - SEP 7, 2017
Deep copper with nice sized off-white head. Sweet malt nose with a touch of roast. Flavor much the same, little sweet towards the finish. Clean and easy. Lonick (2537) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 2, 2017
Bottle @home (rating backlog). Pours amber, white head. Nose is toffee, caramel, sweet, slightly burnt sugar. Taste is sweet, fruity, not good, way too sweet. p0urmeac0ld0ne (200) - Merthyr Tydfil, WALES - AUG 31, 2017
very uneventful ale - i fail to pick up on the advertised citrus notes, but the malt is present, if not unobtrusive. not bad, but not good either. all brand name, just like the cask version.
