Brewed since 1890, Unicorn is almost as old as the Brewery and is named after the Unicorn pub which was owned by William Robinson from 1838. Our brewery now stands over the inn plot, with our Unicorn proudly positioned on our brewery tower overlooking Stockport.
Unicorn is a magnificent pale tart, thirst quenching ale with superb mouth feel of rich malt, hops and complex aromas of Golding hops, malt and tart fruit. It has a long dry finish with citrus fruit notes.

A very malty ale. This beer is refreshing, malty with a dry bitter finish. It is drinkable, but nothing special. A typical English ale.

Original y con un toque de malta muy apropiado. Si se sirve fría con un buen pescado es increible.

#18 - Very good looking .... Very refreshing, slightly bitter but well balanced.

Grumbo (4986) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2013
Bottle bought at the Moulsham Superstore, Molusham St, Chelmsford. Mid brown colour, caramel malt and a little fruit in evidence. OK but nothing to stand out.

JK54B (1603) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 21, 2013
Mild malty nose. Pale fast disappearing head. Clear golden color. Malty well balanced taste. Average hops. Slightly sour and roasty too. At the end hops bite.

Ruprecht_007 (995) - Cesky Tesin, CZECH REPUBLIC - APR 30, 2013

330ml Bottle tasted on March 29th. I liked the dark golden appearance and the dry at the palate. Nice one!

Cerveja com baixo teor alcoólico mas com aroma, cor e paladar incríveis. Altamente recomendada

garthicus (2988) - Dublin, IRELAND - JAN 20, 2013
Appearance: Black tea coloured, medium white head. No visible carbonation. Aroma: tea, biscuit, mute grassy hops, malty, a little damp cardboard. Flavour: Tea, a hint of banana and caramel, malty, some grassiness with an odd strawberry like note in the finish. Weird.
