UPDATED: AUG 17, 2017 Pours deep dark brown with a coarse dark cream colored head. Strong fizz that's nice on the tongue. Taste reminds of sweet Dutch licorice, cilantro and notes of citrus and berries. Aftertaste is full sweet with notes of wood and slightly alcoholic. All in all a superb bier. fabry2 (2) - ITALY - AUG 16, 2017 does not count
Penso che una birra come la Rochefort 10 non abbia bisogno di alcun commento. De gustibus non est disputandum ma la Rochefort 10 è unica nel suo genere e una delle migliori birre al mondo. PUNTO beermastersasho (129) - - AUG 16, 2017
Really good beer. If you save it for years its even better and better... You cannot taste the alcohol at all... smooth, nice sweet taste and aroma of dried fruits. The alcohol starts at the and of the swallow... but it is light, not heavy for 11,3 abv... If you cannot sleep go take this and go to bed and have a good night. Good with steak, cheese, fruits... Sweet, rum-raisin, with hints of banana bread. boozy back end. Forgot how awesome this beer is. Amazing dessert beer you don’t need to trade for.

The top product from the Rochefort Trappist brewery. Dark color, full and very impressive taste. Strong plum, raisin, and black currant palate, with ascending notes of vinousness and other complexities.

330 ml biottle. Pours with a deep brown color and a nice tan head. Sweet nose: raisins, dried fruity like apricot and peach, molasse and Bekgian yeast. Taste is more intense than the nose. fine flavors raisins, very sweet, dried fruits. Lots of alcohol, not as nice balanced like others. amikhaylov (114) - Moscow, RUSSIA - AUG 11, 2017
Bottle at Pivko in Perm.
A classic. Some tart notes, alcohol sweetness, lots of nuances and details. Very complicated. Cornix (193) - - AUG 4, 2017
Pours dark brown with off white head. Aroma of caramel, plums, some spices. Flavors are heavy sweetness, caramel, berries, licorice, spicy bitterness. Full body, oily texture, light carbonation. Excellent beer. Soupoftoday (86) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 4, 2017
Although this recipe has been refined and mastered over many years it is now a bit dated. Nice and dry for the ABV but the flavor profile is one dimensional - treacle, caramel, slight raisin, and a bit of booze. Same old story. Kind of sterile. Full respect to traditional Trappist breweries for how ahead of the game they were but many of their beers are getting a little boring and lacking in complexity and nuance compared to more contemporary incarnations of the style.
