German-style lager A crisp, golden lager with a malty flavor and a clean, smooth finish. Lazy Daze is one of our top 3 guest favorites.

Draft sampler pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malts, grains and some floral. Taste is malts and grain.

16 oz can: Aroma has got a nice grain and caramel nose, lightly bready with a tinge of grassy hops. Appearance is a golden with a hint of amber and ta thick off white head that lingers. Taste has got some malt backing with intermittent spattering of hops. Palate is light in the mouth with a lingering aftertaste of some malt textures. Overall, it’s an average beer. Nothing Special. Cheers!

"this is a great example of a microbrew that resembles either a really good macro beer or totally uninspired micro. nothing offensive, but totally boring. no reason to revisit."

This beer has a very nice flavor and finish. It uses dortmunder hops which I personally love. Good hot weather beer. Also available in stores.

16 ounce can into lager glass, no canning date. Pours slightly cloudy golden amber color with a small fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of honey, biscuit, cracker, pear, apple, grape, floral, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance of malt and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of honey, biscuit, cracker, pear, apple, floral, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of honey, biscuit, cracker, pear, apple, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice flavor balance and robustness of malt and clean yeast ester flavors; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and moderately crisp mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good Helles lager. All around good balance and robustness of malt and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Clear yellow color. Not much aroma-wise, and maybe a little bit of wheat in the flavor. Watery. Not at all memorable.

johnnyoski (445) - Macomb, Michigan, USA - SEP 30, 2013
Can. Clear golden pour with a fizzy, white head. Faint grainy aroma. Grain and corn flavors mellowed with a heavy dosage of malt. Leaves a dirty aftertaste. Dry texture with average carbonation. Not one of their better efforts.

Pint can sampled in a shaker, this beer had a clear gold pour with a touch of brown/bonze color, and it gave a one finger white head that receded quickly to a spotty cover and small ring, it had aromas of faint toasted malt, some grain and light bread notes, very faint hops if any, the flavors were faint toasted malt, light bread and some notes of cheap lager (reminds me of a cheaper lager beer), the finish had some bitterness but I think it was a combination of hops and alcohol, it tasted a little dirty, the mouth feel was light with a bit of a creamy feel, this beer had a cheap lager flavor and aroma, cheap lager alcohol notes, this beer did not taste like a Dortmunder or a Helles, it tasted dirty and it had cheap alcohol notes on the nose and palate.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of corny, grainy, bready malt and light fruity sweetness. Flavor of sweet malt upfront with a bready finish. Light with some wheaty notes and plenty of grainy malt. A pretty tasty lager and certainly easy drinking. 6/4/7/4/14 [3.5/5]
