Large sample pour of deep brown to black with full khaki head. Nose is roasted malts and sweet caramel notes with lighter sugars. Flavor is smooth caramel and milky sweetness. Lactose qualities grow as it opens. Roast and malt presence more than anything. It’s pretty decently made. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - APR 17, 2015
Can: Dark brown, nearly black with a creamy, swindling beige head on top. Looks a touch thin. Aroma packed with milky chocolate, mostly sweet with a hint of roasted malts in the background. Light coffee with dry undertones to blunt the sweetness towards the finish. Mouth feel is slightly thin, but still retains a moderately creamy essence which is nice. Almost silky. Flavors of sweet baker’s chocolate, roasted malt, toasted nuts, & a good bit of coffee. Not black coffee, more like "heavy cream & sugar" type coffee. Creamy milky chocolate finish with a slight roasty bitter twinge for balance. Far from cloying, actually quite drinkable. Tasty stuff. arminjewell (9687) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - APR 6, 2015
Pour on tap at HopCat, dark brownish black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of dark milk sugar, some chocolate, coffee, hints of spice into a bit of caramel, slight toffee, slight vanilla. Taste was a mix of vanilla, chocolate, coffee, hints of spice into some slight caramelized sugar, hints of lactose, finishing sweet. SG111 (1876) - New York, USA - MAR 27, 2015

Pours opaque with a thick foamy head. Aroma is malt and lactose. Taste is sweet. The milk and cocoa flavors are obvious. Tastes of soy sauce and dates are also prominent. Full bodied and with very mild carbonation. Overall a decent enough sweet milk stout, but there are better. njager246 (697) - grand rapids, Michigan, USA - MAR 2, 2015

Great smooth, creamy, chocolatey stout out of a pint can. Not too sweet, a little coffee flavor but basically no bitterness. Never thought my home town would ever boast a brewery that could make a beer of this caliber! Elnaer (11) - Michigan, USA - DEC 5, 2014
Pours jet black with a tan head. This is a very good stout. Nose is light coffee, and chocolate. Chocolate and malt sweetness up front with a tasty bitter coffee finish. Easy drinking with a low ABV. It’s a little thinner than an oatmeal or breakfast stout (which is desirable depending on your tastes of the day) and is superior to other milk lactose (cream) stouts that I’ve had (I’ve enjoyed quite a few). Overall, a great stout with a chocolaty sweet taste that is easy to drink and tastes great. An underrated stout IMO. DiarmaidBHK (5113) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 25, 2014
Can from drakes party center. Pours black with a shitload of khaki lacing. Coates the glass with it too. I get a bit of the cocoa on the nose. There’s some lactose as well. I don’t know if it quite suggests a milkshake but it is a solid milk stout.
