COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The combination of four different malts, along with a low hop level creates a deep dark beer featuring rich, sweet roasted flavors. The addition of lactose (milk sugar) adds complexity, body, and a residual sweetness lending a smooth creamy texture to this full-flavored brew. Once a Seasonal offering in the pub, now prominently featured due to popular demand.

not much in the way of aroma, flavor is lactic and chocolate.has a pleasant creamy mouthfeel.the basics are here for this beer.needs a little improvement on aroma and perhaps a little bitterness in the finish.its average right now but has potential with tweaking.

Rated under old beer app. Poured dark brown with some foam. Smooth taste with not too much sweetness. Tap at brewery.

its like a nice milkshake only a little beery. but really like a creamy chocolate milkshake with a milk like froth and like evaporated milk. vanilla like cream. I like it. its satisfying and not strong as one might surmise. not bad at all.

Aroma: I get dark chocolates, malts, a tangy cranberry zing, a much cleaner, purer powdered milk aroma than, say, a Cassels Milk Stout. Appearance: Dark brown, tan super creamy head, with soapy, rainbow micro-bubbles on the rim. Taste: A perfect Mexican malteada. Sweet, malty, with the lovely flavour of raw, dark Royce chocolates. That ideal Spanish-made Nesquick flavour (NOT UK or Germany or Australia, please). And although it has none of the roasty bitterness of the oatmeal stouts and none of the excessive hops of so many US-made stouts, this lack of bitterness does not make the beer cloying sweet at all. Perhaps that tangy cranberry molecule from the aroma is making the difference. Absolutely gorgeous flavours. Palate: Creamy, velvety. Theres actually a decent body, but at the same time it is super easy to drink. Disappears in no time. Overall: This may not be my favouritest beer ever, but it is an almost perfect sweet stout, so unfairly underrated here.

This brew pours a dark brown color with a bit of mahogany around the edges, and a medium frothy tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Chocolate, malt and vanilla aromas. Light-bodied with flavors of fudge, roasted malt, and vanilla coffee. The finish is sweet with a chocolatey aftertaste. Above average overall.

Pint can from VE. Nose nice dark roast, and surprisingly dry to my sniffer. Pour darker-than-cola brown with a large and foamy tan head. Light-watery body with low sweetness (surprising for style) and a high level of roast, not too much scorch, more on the nuttier side. Lightly airy, minimal fruit in the background, and some booze seeping through. Sort of aloof, distances itself from you, and as we all know, were often attracted to the things we cant have. Like the novelty here, though they call it a milk stout, a lot more like Beamish or Guinness than a syrupy-chocolaty mouth-filler. Dangerously repeatable, would love to have this again. FROTHINGSLOSH (7073) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 29, 2016
Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a black color with an enormous creamy-soapy brown head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweetish and toasty with notes of vanilla, marshmallow and chocolate. The flavor was toasty and mildly bitter with chocolate, vanilla and a lactic note. Long toasty chocolate and almost marshmallow finish. Medium bodied and smooth. Solid.

Pours an opaque dark brown color with khaki colored head. Roasted malt, raw cocoa, and some sweetness on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with sweetness and some roast.

Can from a trade. Nose is big in cocoa and fudge. Light milky creamy sensation. Pitch black pour. Small white head. Taste is initially bitter, seemingly thin mouthfeel. Second sip doesnt show much more. Just meh at best. Seems to be lacking in everything advertised.

Smells somewhat like coffee. Very dark in color Has some minor carbonation which I found interesting for a stout Nice creamy head on my glass of beer. Pretty smooth drink with no taste of alcohol lingering. Very drinkable and I would drink this again! Nice can for my beer can collection! Appearance Very very nice!
