Draft at GABF. Pours dark brown with tan head. Nose and taste of chocolate, milk sugar and light cream. Medium body. yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 15, 2015
On tap at Hop Cat, Ann Arbor. Just south of black, with a small dense beige head. The aroma is roasted, with coffee, some vanilla and molasses. A bit plain I think, and a tad weak. It’s quite sweet on the palate, full bodied and with a nice carbonation. Dry, roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate and some vanilla and molasses in the flavor. Lasting finish. Nice, yes it is, but it lacks character I think. 150615 Dogbrick (14300) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 27, 2016
This brew pours a dark brown color with a bit of mahogany around the edges, and a medium frothy tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Chocolate, malt and vanilla aromas. Light-bodied with flavors of fudge, roasted malt, and vanilla coffee. The finish is sweet with a chocolatey aftertaste. Above average overall. crossovert (14128) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 27, 2015

Taster on tap at HopCat in East Lansing. Dark brown color. Slightly red. Thin khaki head, leaves good lace. Medium-plus body. Crisp, lighter carbonation. Good darker chocolate, light oat, some lactose milk sugar, bit of roast. Nice balance in the malt profile. Moderate bitter, light sweet. Good milk stout, more my style. Satisfying amount of bitter. Good balance to it. arminjewell (9727) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - APR 6, 2015
