wilkie (1208) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - MAR 22, 2005
Draught. Red with a small white head. Aroma is malty and sweet. Flavor is malty, but lacks hoppiness and finishes thin and watery. Should have balanced the malt better. GonZoBeeR (3061) - ste-catherine, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 27, 2005

A watery attempt at an amber ale. Slight malty taste. The smell of alcohol was definitely present. npdempse (934) - St. Petersburg, Florida, USA - JUL 30, 2004
Copper/red, small off-white head.
Fairly sweet nose, some citrus/cascades. Semi-sweet, malty flavor, musty. Light bitterness. Very weak flavor. Duke (117) - New York, USA - MAR 22, 2004
Brownish-red with an off white head. Good lacing. Wood, malt, carmel and smoke armoma. Flavor is malty but little weak. Very little hop taste.

Deep ruby red almost light brown color that was very clear. Poured with a nice tan head that lingered for some time, that left nice lacing on the glass. Caramel malt aroma dominates followed by some hop. Dark caramel malt flavor comes through, they must have used a good amount of 120 deg lovibond crystal malt? There is some bitterness to the beer but no hop flavors. An average Red Ale not bad but nothing to rave about. Out of balance needs more hop flavors and bitterness to counter the caramel malt taste. axilla (962) - New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 23, 2004
Deep mohogany color with an off-white head that diminishes kind off slowly. Not much to the smell. A little on the bland side. Very thin maple taste. Some sweet/bitternes shows up for a short aftertaste. Eyedrinkale (3214) - Astoria, New York, USA - JAN 26, 2004
There are four types of hops and seven USA grains in this bad boy. Note the rating when I say "bad". Extremely malty finish. Nothing else. dirtymike (2016) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - JAN 19, 2004
Ruby brown with a small white head.Flavor is sweet.tart, with toasted /roasted malt notes.Another Rock Art beer that really makes me concerned about sanitation. Volgon (2763) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - JAN 15, 2004
Bottled 11/03 drank 1/04: Clear orange ruby color with a quickly ending big bubbled head. Chemical aroma, thin body with an off-bitter aftertaste. Something is not right with this beer.
