brewwtopia 11-12-05. Poured amber with huge fluffy and foamy head, could be the person who poured? Nose was malts, some wood and earth notes. Taste was nowhere as good as the nose. Skip this.

DocLock (11048) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 17, 2005
Pours ruby with a 2-finger, off-white head. Aroma of malt, cabernet, cherries, some brown sugar. The flavor is roasty malty, with some fruit, hops, brown sugar, and dark chocolate at the finish.

Bottle. The aroma of malts and caramel is better than the flavor to me which consists of a smooth mix of ingredients which doesn’t go over the top. It doesn’t seem to have an aftertaste of any magnitude. The roasted sweetness laden in this beer is slight. It needs amplification.

12 oz bottle-pours a thick lacing light tan head with a clear dark amber color. Aroma is hoppy followed by malt. Taste is slightly bitter, hops, dark deep roasted malt.

weeare138 (936) - Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 16, 2005
Appears a dark red amber with a creamy 1 finger ivory head that lasts. Heavy streaks of lace are painted on the inside of the glass. Smell is grainy malts with caramel and crystal malt, along with a light amount of hops. Taste about the same as the aroma descriptions with a mildly sweet taste. Mouthfeel is gritty and full bodied with a semi sweetness balancing out a mild bitterness.

VTHopHead (1513) - Seymour, Tennessee, USA - JUL 9, 2005
Bottle - Pours a too dark reddish brown with an off-white head that sticks around. Aroma is of roasted malt and slight of coffee. Flavor is slightly sour with weak roasted malt and little hop bitterness. Very watery body. Finish is weak and has some leftover roasted malt. Not a very good effort...

2.8
stegosaurus (1882) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 5, 2005
pours dark with a decent head, good aroma almost coffee-like smell, very smooth tasting, a little watery but a good flavor, drinkable.

Bottle. Deep amber in color, white head. Aroma is sweet, flavor is smooth malt. There isnt a lot backing up this beer though, no hop bite, now warm finish. It leaves something without.
