Location/Date:Bottle on October 24, 2012 from Ben.
Appearance: Pours a clear reddish brown.
Aroma: Aroma of caramel malt.
Taste: Light bitterness, lots of caramel, at times too sweet.
Palate:Light body, a little bit of fizz, lingering aftertaste.
Summary: Thanks for the Ticks Six Ben! My first rating of the pack, and my second Rock Art rating. This beer is a bit unbalanced to me, overly sweet and needs more hop punch.
Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma is earthy, caramel and light roast. Taste is sweet with some light bitters. Medium bodied, slick and smooth. BuckeyeBoy (7535) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 27, 2016
On tap at the pub. Pours out amber topped with a small sand head. Nose is malty caramel and some floral hops..taste is more of the caramel malts and floral hop. Metalchopz (3364) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 28, 2016
Mixed pack bought in Vermont. Pours a clean amber colour with a fizzy head that does not stay long. A small ring is left because of the heavy carbonation. Aroma of caramel malts with decent hops. Hints of nuts. A lot of the same for the taste, but watered down. Hoppy finish with mild bitterness. An average red ale. Sandlike residue at the bottom. Not sure if normal. This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a soft hazy burnt amber color with a slight transparency about it. Soft carbonation rises at a moderate pace. There’s no head nor lacing.
The smell had a strong nutty to caramel maltiness overlaying a rich toffee blend. Light cocoa backs it up decently.
The flavor is basically the same with a lingering sweet nutty aftertaste leading to a dry nutty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it.
Carbonation runs fairly smooth. A nice rolling nuttiness scampers over my tongue in a dry fashion.
Overall, it’s a decent American Red ale. Everything fits for the style, it’s just nothing over the top. Tonkun (1296) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 2, 2015
Bottle. Amber pour with a big offwhite head. Caramel, spice, herb. Medium body. Easy to drink with caramel, good carbonation and slightly acidic body.

Decent red. Has a caramel aroma with some bread and a hint of fruit. The flavor has the caramel and a bit of the fruit. Fairly well balance, dry and refreshing. berniecarbo (148) - Holliston, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 2, 2013
Draft, deep amber with off white head. Strong malts with a nice hope finish. Medium body sailracer (486) - Massachusetts, USA - OCT 1, 2013
Tap. A little malt up front but dominated by roasted flavors that didn’t blend very well. It was drinkable, but I didn’t care for the flavor. jsmerig (1578) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 25, 2013
Pours a dark amber with a light tan head. Aroma of bright orange citrusy hops surrounded by a syrupy malt backbone. Taste is only subtly sweet at the start. Quickly taken over by a nutty roasted flavor accented by a note of hazelnut. Worth a sixer.
