Appearance : Pitch black with small head.
Aroma : Roasted malt with very light pumpkin spices.
Taste : Roasted malt with light coffee. Light spruce. Very light pumpkin. Finish is rather dry. A bit thin even.
Overall : Interesting stuff. Interesting spruce notes but not enough pumpkin flavors. I immediately compare this with Midnight Sun Threat and it’s not helping at all. Feels a bit too thin for an imperial stout.
The stout pours dark chestnut brown with an off white head. The aroma is light sweet spruciness that comes off as candy hops a bit, no roasted malts. The flavor is light spruce hoppiness that serves well on a lighter body than expected for a stout. Chalsk (1104) - North Caldwell, New Jersey, USA - OCT 31, 2011
Pours a dark brown color with an off white foam head. Has an aroma of caramel, spruce, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Dry, caramel flavor with some muted cinnamon and nutmeg. Very unique. Love that. keepersj12 (3133) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - OCT 26, 2011
Seems I liked this a little more than most. Pours a dark brown with a small tan head. The aroma has some caramel and roast malts. I got a litlle vanilla in the taste along with the malts, maybe a bit of chocolate. Not to much pumpkin to be found. Decent beer.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is pine, caramel, spices and a little hint of pumpkin...smells almost like a car air freshner. Taste is sweet with understated bitters. Somewhat acidic mouthfeel. yespr (45869) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - SEP 12, 2011
