This exploded a bit when I opened it but its pretty good. Great for a summer day. Slightly hoppy and bitter and wheaty.

22 oz. bottle. Bottle sat in my buddy’s fridge for about 8 months. Deep amber color with thick foamy head. Nose of toasted malts and light floral hops. Hop flavor has dieda bit but not a big problem since the malts take over. Sweet malts of caramel, molasses with some toasted grain. Still has a light bitterness even after all this time. Medium body with a sticky, syrupy texture. Hard to know what this was like with fresh hops. Still at this point, ok. SuIIy (1983) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - FEB 22, 2013
Bottle. Pouts a dark peachy color with a very fluffy and airy white head. Light sugar notes, brown sugar with grassy hops and a light resin note. Palate is smooth with a light crispness. Flavors of earthy hop notes, sticky malts with a big carbonation presence.

Pours a deep golden/amber color with a smallish off white head that quickly dissipates. Smells of caramel and brown sugar with a touch of ethanol, and sweet almost herbal aromas wafting from the glass. The flavor is sweet and dark sugary and caramel like the aroma promised, but with a solid shot of dark sweet fruits as well. Medium body with a light level of carbonation and a sweet almost syrupy mouthfeel. Decent enough beer, but seems caught somewhere between a bock and a barleywine. Confusing but drinkable I guess. kathouse (1932) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - JUN 15, 2012
Pours an orange hue with a thick foam. Faint aroma of bread and caramel. This is the second beer that’s "highly" hopped from Rock Art that has no hop aroma. Good body and plenty of carbonation. Slightly toasted with good malt backbone. Finish is dry with only a little malt residue. Can’t tell where those hops are. This is not a bad beer by any means, but overall score is indicative of the middle of the road. AdamChandler (5150) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 19, 2012
On tap at Rock Art brewery. Half a finger of tan head. SRM of 15. Light caramel brown. caramel and Munich malts. Not a lot of smell going on. Overall, pretty weak. Taste - tasty. Very dry and full bodied. Wheat? Nice malt backbone of munich. A mild bit of spices. Not a bad bock. Not the best. jgb9348 (6438) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - APR 14, 2012
Super deep amber coloured body with a bright orange glow and a nice, five centimetre tall tan head - very nice looking for the style. Aroma of toasty malt, earthy and resiny hops with a touch of grapefruit and citrus. Medium-bodied; Nice rich malty flavour with a lot of alcohol, some citrus and herbal notes and an earthy, alcohol flavour with a hint of spice. Aftertaste shows mostly a deep european lager with a lot of alcohol and a decent amount of flavour, but not much complexity. Overall, a nice interesting bock with a lot of alcohol, a good amount of flavour at first, but not much deep complexity. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 11-March-2012 for US$3.95 sampled at home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 14-April-2012. hbmason (1086) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - NOV 19, 2011
On draft at the brewery. Orangish amber color with pretty good white head. Malty. Decent but nothing crazy.
