"Ah taste and smell the hops!" A hoppy ale that is mildly bitter. Brewed with the finest pale malt available and a touch of flaked barley. Cascade hops are used to make a hop tea that is added directly to the brite tank for a Rock Art twist on an age old favorite. (SUMMER SEASONAL) Now available in 22 oz. bottles!

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. The pour is medium to dark amber with a slight cloudiness and maybe a few sedimentary floaties. Moderate off-white foamy head. There is a nice floral hoppy aroma on the nose with pale malts and biscuit playing up on the back. Smells clean. The body is in the light to medium range. The taste has a vibrant bitterness that does not explode in my mouth but gives me a nice sensation that I had something of substance. Good summer brew.

Pours a slightly chill hazed medium peach color with a decent sized white head that recedes slowly leaving lots of sticky lace in its wake. Smells of light bready and toffee malt sweetness with grapefruit and lemons hop aromas. The flavor is bready malt with a solid shot of old school ipa citrus. Lots of citric hop bitterness and flavor. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick almost tart mouthfeel. Nice citrus forward IPA that reminds me a lot of Harpoon. I could drink this regularly

Soapy pine aroma, like doing the wash with beers. Average orange, surprise two finger head. Mildly bitter, starchy sweetness. Needs a heavier body. Passes muster for an IPA ten years ago, less so now.

It poured a brownish gold and maintained a good haziness in the body. There was a lot of carbonation and it took a good three minutes before the head dissipated. Bubbles formed around the head on the sides before the head dissipated. Once it settled a small mushroom cap of a head centered in the beer. The smell was the pine and the hops with some spices in the background. The taste was the hops with the spices in the background. Some bready malts came out in the taste along with a slightly sweet aftertaste. The palate was a light to medium and mainly drinkable, decently balanced. Overall, pretty good for the style, Id have it again.

12oz bottle-tight offwhite-hazy gold. A-citrus/pine (soapy), 2nd lt/med malt. T-pine hops with a weird bite, 2nd lt/med malt-caramel.

Nice clean grassy hop aroma, with a hint of caramel. Pours a cloudy amber with a white head, with visible sediment floating in it. A quick pop of hops, that quickly fade, with a bit too much carbonation. Not a terrible IPA, just not that good of one.

Bottle. Pours a bright peach color with a small foamy white head. Nose is citrusy and floral with bready malt notes. Palate is medium with lots of tingle. Flavors of citrusy hops, floral hops, cereal grains and grass. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma of light citrusy hops and some pale and caramel malts. Flavor about the same. Average texture. Just an average IPA.

On tap at the 20th Vermont Brewers Festival. Hazy amber with an off white head. Citrus hoppiness and grains with a bit of malt; moderate carbonation and mild flavour. Nothing too exciting but its a refreshing beer on a summer day.

I love RateBeer, been using it a ton since the turn of the calendar to 2012. However, sometimes I just shake my head when I see a beers rating on here. This one for instance is rating very low. I thought it was a solid IPA. Orange color, sticky white head. Citrus, floral, piney aroma. Taste a bit watery, like it to be heavier in the mouth, but still good.
