Pours a light gold with a generous white head.
Light malt accompanied by some lightly perfumed hops. Fruity.
Slightly sweet with some underlying bitterness as it moves towards the finish. A bit of cardboard. Needs more malt and hop complexity with just a touch more body.

Rather disappointing. Just lacks any unique character. The aroma is of a faint fruity, grapefruity, sweet, the colour is light and looks the same as any Kolsch, the flavor strikes you as a fairly bland IPA, the palate variety does little to expound on the latitude granted by an IPA brew style, the carbonation is fairly high and the finish is relatively mild. Get your IPAs elsewhere. Holdwine (1237) - Beertimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 21, 2006
Popurs like flat ginger ale (other than the remarkably quick retreating pale head). Looks like flat ginger ale. Tastes watery, soapy. Slight malt presence. Hops? Donde? Ty5592 (1018) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 10, 2006
Pale gold in color. This beer had a small white head that vanished rather quickly. A very light hop smell was present. The taste was rather weak in the area of hops and the aftertaste was slightly roasted. Rather lame rendition of the style. Beerdedone (3446) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 24, 2006
UPDATED: APR 27, 2006 Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours dark amber with an off white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, and sweet malt. Flavor is bitter, citrus, and caramel.

Smells very hoppy but I’ve tasted many beers hoppier than this. Overall though, not a bad IPA. Nice amber color to it. Also, it has a bit of an alcohol kick at the end of each mouthful, which is odd for a 5%er. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 24, 2006
Pours copper with a thin hite head. You can smell a faint hint of citrus and grass and taste the traces of hops, but this one is watery and bland. Sammy (12610) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 20, 2005
small but nice head. Cascade, bitter, malt spiceyness. Piney,Minty, like spearmint. Good with food. Medium mouthfeel. Very drinkable. Change of pace unique IPA. DocLock (10970) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 17, 2005
Pours hazt dark straw with a lot of carbonation and tiny floaties. Aroma of resiny hops, bready malt, and some cobwebby esters. The taste was hoppy, with some citrus and bready malt. Medium palate that gets hoppier as it warms. Lacking in balance and complexity. JFURYCAT (1078) - East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 11, 2005
I don’t know what to make of this beer. The ingredients seem to clash and balance doesn’t seem to form in the taste or the aroma. The bitterness I normally associate with an IPA is contradicted by a relatively harmless palatte which only seeps out some grassy hops in a sea of water. There is some carbonation present so the mouthfeel is a plus but taste loses and smoothness wins.
