Bottle. Pours a bright peach color with a small foamy white head. Nose is citrusy and floral with bready malt notes. Palate is medium with lots of tingle. Flavors of citrusy hops, floral hops, cereal grains and grass.

draft - Pours hazy orange with a long lasting off-white head. It has a citrus hop aroma and a corresponding flavor with nice grapefruit notes. There’s also a good malt backing and this medium bodied brew finishes with the expected lingering bitterness. It’s quite good. I don’t really understand the low ratings. A light honey-colored brew with some fine yeasty cloudiness. Pleasant light-malt and hop spice aromas. Flavor is very nice. Good light sweet malty start with a good hop presence. somewhat bready, but not too sticky. Some pine, some floral. Mostly spice. Lingering breadiness. Not bad overall. I love RateBeer, been using it a ton since the turn of the calendar to 2012. However, sometimes I just shake my head when I see a beer’s rating on here. This one for instance is rating very low. I thought it was a solid IPA. Orange color, sticky white head. Citrus, floral, piney aroma. Taste a bit watery, like it to be heavier in the mouth, but still good. puboflyons (3463) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 29, 2013
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. The pour is medium to dark amber with a slight cloudiness and maybe a few sedimentary floaties. Moderate off-white foamy head. There is a nice floral hoppy aroma on the nose with pale malts and biscuit playing up on the back. Smells clean. The body is in the light to medium range. The taste has a vibrant bitterness that does not explode in my mouth but gives me a nice sensation that I had something of substance. Good summer brew.

New England Bucket List Trip Beer #107. Keg at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a thin creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of floral, citrus hops and pale malt. The taste is bitter pine, herbal hops and clean pale malt. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness. raymow (1700) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 20, 2006
Smells very hoppy but I’ve tasted many beers hoppier than this. Overall though, not a bad IPA. Nice amber color to it. Also, it has a bit of an alcohol kick at the end of each mouthful, which is odd for a 5%er. rodenbach99 (4572) - Longueuil, Quebec, CANADA - APR 26, 2011
Golden copper w/ decent lace. Not overly fragrant but floral & hop hints. Medium-thin body. Malty & fruity (grapefruit), with dry, bitter, musty? finish.

It poured a brownish gold and maintained a good haziness in the body. There was a lot of carbonation and it took a good three minutes before the head dissipated. Bubbles formed around the head on the sides before the head dissipated. Once it settled a small mushroom cap of a head centered in the beer. The smell was the pine and the hops with some spices in the background. The taste was the hops with the spices in the background. Some bready malts came out in the taste along with a slightly sweet aftertaste. The palate was a light to medium and mainly drinkable, decently balanced. Overall, pretty good for the style, I’d have it again.
