On tap at the Ahwatukee location pouring hazy amber with thin off white head. The mild aroma is vaguely malty and vaguely hoppy and really nothing else. The taste is sweet with malts and then some roasted malts and a bit of nuttiness coming to the surface. To midway I get pine and spicy hops joining in and pushing the hops forward. It ends with the hops becoming resiny with malts and a bit of roastiness off in the background.

clear rusty brown copper color with a small white head and random spots of foam. it smells a lot like grain/barley water mixed with cocoa butter, toffee and some sort of fruitiness. the flavor is pretty much the same with a crisp biscuit-y finish. the body is light to medium while the mouth feel is crisp and clean with moderate prickly carbonation. this pairs fairly well with food as it is quite unobtrusive....6/4/6/3/12/3.1

Pours a little light, not much head or lacing. The complexity lacks, no roasted malt notes, no hops noticed, too balanced with smoothness in mind. Not much of an aftertaste or bitter backside, decent at best.

This is one of the only beers I consistently enjoy at Rock Bottom. Great red color in the glass, relatively smooth finish and easy to drink. Medium bodied. Sweet aroma and flavor.

The beer of chioce for me at rock bottom. Nice red color. Good balance and easy drinking. Good anytime of year

FlacoAlto (4176) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JUL 7, 2005
This beer has a wispy tan head, the color is amber with some copper notes to it. The nose has a sweet caramel note to it, as well as some fruity notes that are reminiscent of cherries. There are also some malty aromatic notes of biscuits which round out the aroma. This beer has a slightly prickly carbonation and is fairly malty sweet, but there is some sort of dirty flavor here. The finish is sort of vegetal and a bit on the phenolic side (I get notes of bandaid, and rubber), though it is still fairly subtle. This is only a month old, so I am not too sure if this is an infection or the way this beer is supposed to be, at least the off flavors are fairly subtle.

Dark amber with a good thick head and lacing. Aroma is sweet malts and caramel. Flavor is sweet malt and caramel with a light roast finish.
